We cover Chelmsford and the surrounding Essex area — including Springfield, Great Baddow, Moulsham and Chelmer Village — along with streets right across the city. If you are nearby and not sure, just call and ask.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and come with no obligation. We talk through the job, explain what is involved and give you a clear, itemised price before any work starts.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes — we work to a minimum first-hour rate to make the visit worthwhile, then bill by the half hour after that. Bundling several small jobs into one visit is the best way to get value.
Do you take on small jobs?
Absolutely. A single shelf, a dripping tap or a sticking door is just as welcome as a larger refit. Many customers save up a list of small jobs for us to clear in one visit.
What days and hours do you work?
Our usual hours are Mon–Sat 07:30–18:00. If you need something outside those times, let us know when you call and we will do our best to help.
Do you bring your own tools and materials?
We arrive with a fully stocked van, common fixings and consumables. For specific items such as a particular tap, blind or unit, you can supply it for us to fit, or we can collect it by arrangement.
How do I pay?
We will confirm accepted payment methods when you book. You only pay once the work is done and you are happy with it.
Can you do electrical or gas work?
We handle everyday tasks within the rules and, where a job is notifiable or needs a registered specialist, we are upfront and work alongside the appropriate qualified engineers so the whole job stays compliant.
